Description
One of the best ways to prepare for the SAT in advance is to read diverse materials with advanced vocabulary. Since not many teens have the self-discipline to do that on their own, we have a new class for you! It will help your teens grow their vocabulary and diversify their reading habits.
Summer VocabFun pilot program was a success, a new session begins this Fall!
Each week:
– a new short story, a poem or an article is assigned to read
– 10 vocab words are assigned to learn
– students will need to define the words and make sentences with them.
– during class we discuss with work plus play educational games to help retain the material
Ages 13+ | Mondays 8:30-9:30p | Zoom
Number of Classes: 15/ English / $300 Class is for kids 8th grade and up. First trial class is $20, after that you register per semester. 8 kids max per class, everyone stays on camera to participate. Homework needs to be emailed before the class begins. |
