Russian Literature

How do we get our American-born teenagers to read in Russian? We have to make learning fun!!  This class might have a boring name, but it is designed in a way to help kids fall in love with most famous Russian writers. During the Spring semester we will continue getting to know Russian classics and read short stories in class.  No mandatory reading at home :).  Only what we can do ourselves in class!!! Tolstoy, Turgenev, Pushkin and poets of the Silver Age await!

  • Art projects
  • Tea and snacks
  • At the end of each semester dinner and a movie celebration
