How do we get our American-born teenagers to read and speak in Russian? We have to make learning fun!! This club is designed to help teenagers appreciate Russian literature in a whole new way.

• we will discover the classics, poetry, and modern short stories together
• learn about the complicated journeys of many Russian and Soviet writers
• mix art and music in to have a full immersive experience
• create, cook, and laugh together!

Начинаем с Чуковского :)…  но это даст нам шанс поговорить о
– Репине, с которым Чуковский дружил
– цензуре в Советское время
– Некрасове, о котором Чуковский написал книгу
– и даже немного о Пушкине, сравнивая разные стили поэзии.
